Wave World is a derivation of Einstein’s theory of gravitational pull which explains that through the movement of multiple masses in orbit a large ripple force of gravitational waves can be created. The gravitational waves that Einstein reference are similar to what Wave World envisions for individuals to leverage the company’s platform to express themselves creatively and inspire change. By touching upon both fashion and tech cultures that consist of individuals striving to innovate, change, and develop their environment. The company’s goal is to shed light on “waves” occurring throughout the world, which are essentially global movements; hence, wave world. There are three mottos that the world generally revolves around: What’s the Wave (what movement?), Lead the Wave (leader of the movement), and Follow the Wave (follower of the movement).
AR (Augmented Reality) leverages device cameras to overlay virtual objects into reality in order to deliver immersive and engaging experiences. Examples of commonly used AR features are within Snapchat/Instagram where Users augment filters onto their faces. This functionality is specific to targeting the human face as an AR anchor to display filters; however Wave World translates this to the whole body to open a new window to the clothing industry’s future. Consumers can select a Wave World (or an affiliated company’s) product and overlay it onto themselves to capture a sense of what the products would look like.
